MATERIAL WITH LASTING VALUE

We return 100 years back and rediscover the beauty of natural brass, a material with a lifetime guarantee that will get old naturally and change its colour and character according to the surrounding space and climatic conditions.

Since our establishment in 1997, we have been producing handles made of solid brass, which we perfectly pre-finish by brushing and polishing, and then we coat with additional layers of various metals in different colours. Although our technologies are high level, all metal layers applied have a lifetime which is limited by their hardness and abrasion resistance. People are slowly getting used to many products with limited warranties and shorter and shorter lifetimes, but they may not …

"We have prepared products made of material with a lifetime guarantee"

In the M&T manufactory in Dobruška

There is one way - traditional but perfect, which has almost fallen into obscurity, but we are helping to revive it because it is the highest quality way with a lifetime guarantee. Yes, with a lifetime guarantee. We use a quality material, solid brass in its natural condition, which we only mechanically treat, as our forefathers did many years ago, and then we let the material age naturally, in the same way that all brass products age on all traditional buildings around the world.

BRASS POLISHED Ms-L
We polish the product perfectly, so perfectly that it sparkles like a mirror. In this condition it is very pleasant to the touch, but it also scrapes off - just like a mirror. Let the product age naturally, and before your eyes its surface will change to a matt, differently coloured original that cannot be imitated or always produced in the same way, just wait for nature to do its work. Where the frequency of door opening is high, the surface will remain glossy, while other surfaces will dull over time. It will always depend on the place of use - indoors it will take months to age, outdoors in the open the ageing process will be much faster and in some places more spectacular.

BRASS NATURAL Ms
We do not want to meet only the needs of users of traditional buildings, we want to offer a lifetime guarantee on the surface of our products to all investors of even the most modern buildings and projects. That's why we come up with the brass natural Ms surface, which is prepared to meet the surface and colour requirements of demanding customers. With modern natural wood now very popular, M&T solid brass fittings with natural brass Ms finish are the right choice, the right solution for maximum satisfaction and a great investment with a lifetime guarantee. The surface will naturally age with the surrounding material and change colour according to the weather conditions.

ANTIQUE BRASS Ms-A
Not everyone wants to wait for polished brass to age naturally and darken. We have one elegant solution – we can speed up the natural process and prepare the brass to its final state, which would normally take several years, depending on the climatic conditions at the site of use. If you prefer a dark, matte finish to shiny, light, golden brass, this is the right choice. You’ll get a natural, organic finish with an original, unique patina, which will smooth out and lighten over time in the most exposed areas.

BRASS OLD WOOD Ms-D
We know that brass is among the very best materials for door hardware. It has several unique properties—it ages beautifully and naturally, does not rust, oxidizes only slightly on the surface, gradually darkens and develops character, acquiring a patina; it is antibacterial, resistant to long-term wear and tear, is highly machinable and malleable, with an aesthetic, attractive appearance in a pleasant golden tone … we sought to take advantage of these properties, and in combination with our masterful handcrafted work and many years of experience, we created a unique surface with the texture of natural wood: the “solid brass door handle with a wood-grain finish.”
